How to
Adding custom samples
The Noisepad supports a custom soundbank option which enables you to use your own samples (.CAF / .WAV / .MP3 audio files, 22Khz / 44khz / 48khz, stereo / mono ). Uploaded samples will be organized into sets of twelve, ordered alphabetically. For each sample the filename will be used as a label, so use a maximum of 12 characters (excluding extension). Longer filenames will be truncated. Your custom soundbanks will appear at the end of soundbank selector with names like ‘User Sounds 1′.
In iTunes / File Sharing you can upload your own samples, the process is described below.
- Connect your device to iTunes
- Select your device under Devices and navigate to the Apps tab
- Select the Noisepad App in the File Sharing menu (scroll down to the bottom of the Apps tab)
- Add your custom samples (.CAF / .WAV / .MP3 audio files, 22Khz / 44khz / 48khz, stereo / mono )
- Don’t forget to sync your device
- Restart the Noisepad to load the samples (automatic loading in future releases).
